OUR story
Cultivating a Generation of Genius
Founded in 2015, City Innovation School has a unique program that focuses on the individual development of each child through a creative and self-paced curriculum that focuses on equipping our children with the skills and knowledge they need to have a competitive advantage in developing industries such as Social Empowerment, Entrepreneurship, Art, and Technology (S.E.A.T).
Our individualized approach features a multi-grade collaborative, interactive, and technology-intensive program that empowers individualism, person and spiritual growth, community, and expression. With the objective of strengthening and revolutionizing under-serviced and historically neglected communities, Innovation School looks to provide a modernized approach to the traditional education system by capacitating these children to graduate into a world parallel to 2020.
Boasting an immersive program that includes S.E.A.T, City Innovation School fuses traditional core subjects such as Language Arts, Math, and Science, with career-focused specializations that host classes such as Introduction to Full Stack Web Development, Fundamentals of Graphic Design, Copyright for Multimedia, Introduction to Augmented Reality and Monetizing your Art.
City Innovation School understands that the traditional institutional model of education that has persisted for over 100 years does not work for all children and has not evolved with the demands of immerging industries. Students will benefit immensely from the one-on-one attention they receive, graduate with their career already on the move, a business already developed, and/or have the hands-on experience they need to have the social and economic opportunity they have not had in the past.
With an emphasis on tailoring education to each individual students’ needs, creating a flexible learning program, and recognizing that learners’ social-emotional experiences may affect not only their academic growth but also their social, economic and emotional growth, City Innovation intends to deliver an optimal educational experience for each and every single child enrolled at our school.

Build pathways for minority children to discover their genius, monetize their gifts, and lead the world through entrepreneurship, high demand vocations, and social innovation. Understanding that each child is a catalyst for change, we provide educational and experiential opportunities for our students to become the leaders, innovators, solutionists and and professionals that the traditional approach does not.
